SNCR denitration technology

A brief description of the technology

SNCR refers to Selective Non-Catalytic Reduction, which uses NH3, urea and other matters as the reducing agent. The agent will be atomized before being injected into the boiler, or be evaporated and atomized by the heat in the boiler. When the reducing agent is injected into the area with a temperature range of 850 - 1100°C, ammonia or urea in gas phase will decompose into free radicals NH3 and NH2. At the same time, within the temperature range and the oxygen presented, NH3 reacts with NOx in the flue gas to generate N2.

 

Technical features

1. The equipment has integrated, modularized and automation design, with small floor area, easy operation, maintenance, installation, and disassembly;

2. Through numerical simulation, the temperature field is accurately selected as the injection temperature field without using catalyst, and investment cost is low

Process flow

SNCR system adopts modular design and is so manufactured, which is mainly composed of a reducing agent circulation module, a water dilution module of reducing agent, a reducing agent metering module, a reducing agent distribution module, a reducing agent injector, and other modular components.

The technique mainly includes the following four basic processes:

1. Receiving and storing reducing agent;

2. The metering output of the reducing agent, mixing with water for dilution;

3. The diluted reducing agent is injected somewhere proper in the boiler;

4. The reducing agent mixes with the flue gas to trigger denitration reaction.
